CENTEX Eagles bagged four of the United Nations Best National Costume awards

Our beloved CENTEX students from Kindergarten to Grade Six had recently  joined  SM Manila’s search for the Best National Costume contest last October 22, 2019.  Jhayne Carla Merilles, 2nd Grader student flaunted off her Philippine National Costume and won First Place, Female Category and Amara Rosette Cruz, 3rd Grader won for herself 2nd place. While Aaron Kent Cruz. also a 3rd grader won 2nd place for the Male Category. CENTEX also successfully earn the “The Most number of participants” with a total of 221 students wearing their chosen National costume! Way to go CENTEXIANS!!!

Do you know why we celebrate United Nations Day? United Nations day is celebrated every 24th of October each year. On October 24,1945, 50 countries met in San Francisco, California to form a group of nations who would work together for world peace. Today, the UN has 193 member states or countries.
